2. What data we collect
We only collect the data you provide to us or that is needed for the website to work:
- Contact form (home and Contact page): name, e-mail address, service of interest, an optional preferred date and the message you send us.
- Rental/tour booking (booking widget): first name, last name, e-mail address, phone number and, only for boats that require it, your boating licence number.
- Payment data: handled directly by our payment provider (Stripe) for card payments, or by bank transfer. We never store your full card details: they do not pass through nor are they kept on our servers.
- Browsing data: cookies and statistical identifiers (see Cookie Policy) and standard technical server logs (IP address, browser type, date and time), generated automatically for security and the correct operation of the site.
3. Why we process your data (purpose and legal basis)
- Replying to your enquiries and quotes sent through the forms — legal basis: your consent and pre-contractual measures at your request.
- Managing the booking and contract for the rental or tour (confirmation, communications, organising the service) — legal basis: performance of the contract.
- Complying with legal obligations for tax and accounting relating to payments and invoicing — legal basis: legal obligation.
- Statistics and improving the website through analytics tools — legal basis: your consent (managed via cookies).
4. How long we keep your data
We keep your personal data only for as long as strictly necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and, in any case, for a maximum of 12 months from the last contact or the end of the service.
The only exception is data relating to bookings, payments and invoicing, which we are required to keep longer for the tax and accounting obligations set out by Italian law. After these periods the data is deleted or irreversibly anonymised.
5. Who we share your data with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with providers who help us deliver the service and act as data processors:
- Stripe — card payment processing.
- RentCore — the system that processes rental bookings.
- Google (Tag Manager, Analytics, Maps) — statistics and maps.
- Hosting and e-mail provider — technical management of the website and e-mail communications.
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Union (e.g. the United States): in that case the transfer takes place on the basis of the appropriate safeguards required by the GDPR (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses).
6. Your rights
At any time you can exercise the rights set out in articles 15–22 of the GDPR: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection to processing and withdrawal of consent (without affecting processing already carried out).

We adopt appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data from unauthorised access, loss or misuse, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and payment handling through certified providers.
